Objective

Create a user-friendly mobile app for a popular Urgent Care chain that seamlessly integrates with features existing on their website.


 

UX Discoveries

Since this app is designed for use by the public, the user base is extremely diverse, and that was considered when creating user personas.

Personas, user journeys, wireframes, and some initial prototyping kicked off the project.

Segmented user groups shown here are: Hardworking Mom, Retired Husband, Active Minimalist Millennial, and Fast Mover, Fast Talker


Visual Design and Complete Design Library

To keep things organized during the transition from Adobe XD to Figma, I built a full UI Kit and Design System in Figma, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all designs. From top to bottom, every style, color, and component is outlined in this library.

Utilizing component variants and other organization features in Figma is a huge time saver when it comes time to update designs. Applying autolayout and making changes to a design at the component level allows changes to be pushed to any areas you want to be updated, saving the designer from making time-consuming manual updates.

 

Matching device theme

Get Care, splash screen, and center details screens shown in dark and light theme.

For users who prefer a dark interface, that option is available.

The default selection for appearance is to match the theme that the user has chosen for their device.
